Located near Rodney Bay Marina, Pigeon Island is a fun place to visit as well as a historic park. In the area there are palm fringed beaches to unwind and relax on or for the more active, it is a great place to try out snorkelling and see the stunning sealife on show.
Check out St Lucia’s history and take a look at the military ruins on the island left behind by the battles between the French and British. Pigeon Island National Park is considered to be very important in St Lucia’s historical background and it definitely is worthwhile to soak in the culture here, which dates back all the way to 1550s!
A great view of Pigeon Island can be seen right at the top of Fort Rodney which gives you a stunning panoramic view of the Northwest coastline.
