Pitons

Of course when you mention St Lucia, you have to refer to the renowned landmark of the island, the glorious Pitons.

The Pitons are two volcanic formations made up of Gros Piton and Petit Piton. They were designated as a World Heritage Site and are unmistakably a defining part of St Lucia’s epic natural landscape.

You can take a visit to the dramatic Pitons by going on a guided hike up Gros Piton. It is a challenging feat but ultimately very rewarding! There are a variety of tours to choose from and the guides are very informative and fun to hike with. The climb takes about two hours and visitors who reach the top will have the most spectacular and awe inspiring views of St Lucia and the lush surroundings.
